I have beaten one 2000 player in an over the board game back some years ago. He underestimated me and tried some tricks and when they didn't work his game was over. He dropped out of the tournament after the first game with me. I was only rated around 1400 at the time. I'll never see 2000 myself I'd sooner play and chat than study which is what it takes.
