A glass of iced tea, please: black, light ice, with some sugar but not so much as to make it "sweet tea" in the southern parlance.

Then I'm heading out to get some batteries for my bike lights before it gets too hot.

You got that heat wave coming too the one we are suppose to have for the next 3 or 4 days? Suppose to hit record temperatures today, also for the next few days we haven't seen in a few centuries. Man hydrate well if you go golfing!!! OH yes, and keep your head protected from the Sun. 🙂

the hottest temperature I've ever experience was 115 F in Sonoma County Calif in 1963
I was young and enjoyed swimming in the lake
no sunscreen but lots of beer
I remember getting a bad sunburn
