Cheap pot shots? It was a news article about the storm.
Did you think that I really thought it was your house?

@the-gravedigger saidI actually live in a City, although a small one. I am next to a lake, but not on top of it. There was a lot of downed poles wires trees, one tree fell on one side of me and another on the other side on top of car, a rather large tree. Trees were uprooted the clean up will take a long time. 1000 military personal have been called in to help with the clean up. I was without power for 40 hrs. there are still a little under 200,000 households without power. They have lost all their food which was frozen, so all the expensive stuff. I lost a bit of grocery, I was under the 48 hours which it takes for meat to thaw, had to throw away about 30 dollars worth of fish, so nothing serious.
Any damage to your town/ neighbourhood.
Had no damage done to speak of really. Some families lost everything. Roofs were actually torn off of houses. It struck New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland besides us Newfoundland was hardest hit with the water eating up 20 homes and a lady 73, her house was one of the 20 tore it in two I heard. Took 24 hrs. to find her body. It was a lot worst than Dorian 3 years ago and much of the damage a lot like Juan about 20 years ago.

Welcome back, Rustman. And I sure hope the military can get you folks dug out in reasonable time. Good luck.

Nice to be back, and better than that still alive. A big disappointment for a few I am sure. 🙂 I don't know what I think of my new Nickname yet....LOL.... I was right when I said the strength of Fiona reminded me a little of Juan back around 20 years ago. Well apparently it was stronger and we had more damage and power outages. So Fiona is now the Strongest Hurricane to hit us.

I know you haven't changed
@gertrude saidNeither have you Gertrude, except your name, your clan name repeatedly, in general, trying to stir the pot as much as possible. Do you work at it, or does it just come naturally? 😛 🙂
