He allows you and your clan to cheat, throwing games (good clan management according to your leader), sandbagging by playing tournaments against higher rated players etc we are 2016 champions, you are guilty of receiving stolen property. That's the truth Crusty that you cannot bring yourself to acknowledge.
Just to be clear, you are referring to me when you talk about sandbagging by losing to higher rated players in tournaments.
Your grasp of logic is poor when you spew this drivel.
Has it ever occurred to you that I also play lower rated players ?
And winning those games raises my rating by an equal amount ?
If you study the rating formula in the FAQ's, you will learn that I lose very few rating points by playing better players.
For example, a player rated 300 points higher than me would cost less than 5 rating points for a loss.
And besides, I would gain those 5 points back by beating a player rated 300 points below me in the same tournament. In other words, it should even out in the tournament.
Where I stand to lose more points is in clan challenges where I can win/lose 16 rating points against an equally rated player.
And these are games we are trying to win !!
Metallica is not throwing challenges to other clans.
We focus on winning.
You focus on whining.
You need to let it go.
Try playing some chess.
After all, you paid for it.
Apologies to the general forum for allowing clan issues to fester on here.
I didn't bring it here.
But a response to the incessant crybaby act is warranted.

I'm sure Robbie will agree with this, if he stops and thinks about it.

An added risk is running into a sandbagger in a tournament.
I've come up against opponents with current rating 1100 that were as high as 2500 in the last year.
Those games will hit your rating hard.
60 point drop for 2 games.
As a humorous side note, I resigned both games against the player above before the game could get to 3 moves.
Any game that doesn't reach 3 moves automatically sets to unrated.
Meaning it doesn't change my rating.
Carrobie jumped all over that bit of information as proof of my sandbagging.
I did say humorous, right ? 😀😀
That's who we deal with in this forum.😴

I'd define a 'tough' forum as one where it's a challenge to win an argument and you have to bring your intellectual 'A' game. - On this premise, the Science forum is probably the toughest, closely followed by Debates and Spirituality.
In the Clans forum you can win an argument by calling someone a poop head.
Even Robbie can do that. 😵
By that do you mean the power to Google and copy and paste between posts? Not saying you do that but debates that's mainly all there is.
With starting each post with the racist troll. Or I am responding to a personal attack or provide a link.
Yeah lame boring stuff.
For me the forum is a time filler till a move is ready .
For other it is life and death some don't even play chess but post all day trying to win?
Win what exactly? How is winning measured ? By thumbs?
Most of the time the poster not the post gets the thumb.
With Google at hand it's easy to pretend to be clever or have a certain job.
For me the more the person portrays the appearance of alleged intelligence the more stupid they are In real life
Anyone can say they are a professor or physiologist or submarine commander on here so way if proving or disproving it.
The forums on here are fun
The best posters by a mile are green pawn and son house
Always fascinating greenpawns blog and son house in science
You with yanking chains and plastic outrage is tedious and has been done many times before but at least you are having a go as you freeload on here .
On that will get me three thumbs down from the usual suspects

And I agree, Sonhouse is an interesting poster. A good example of a non subscriber still contributing to the site.
