Raced motorcycles until mom made us sell them.
BMX
Surfed, but there were no waves.
I skated, built a nice ramp. Took lumps.
Father purchased a boat, did the water stuff.
Some years later at age 26 went skate boarding again with a friend. Landed on hip, and decided Mountain Biking might be fun.
Got a guitar and played some chess.
Originally posted by Phlabibitalways wanted a motorcycle as a kid, never got one. mom & dad were having none of it. I'm probably the only male member of the family who never had one. it was mainly veteran bikes though, not much motocross scene around.

got a bmx bike, which my cousin drove under a car riding out of the yard. he got ran over by his mom who was passing by, flew quite far and broke his leg, ears bleeding. it was pretty scary, but he got alright.
did baseball (not the american kind), football, hockey, track & field. karate, orienteering, cross country skiing & running, I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff. floorball.
but all off that went soon after getting my first 70's skateboard. (oh yeah, did speed skating too) after that it was skis and snowboarding in winter and skating in summer. built some ramps too, and the first half-pipe to the ski resort.
played guitar from 12-year-old I think. never fell on my hip at 26, but broke a finger at rugby around that time. started chess at 30. 🙂
