The Bible does not say there were three wise men; it only says there
were three gifts. =fals ...[text shortened]... when Herod was king. When Jesus was born,some wise men from the east came to Jerusalem"!
The rubber band one is about them decomposing, not how easy they are to snap.
That quote doesn't say there were 3 wise men, which is what the fact was all about. The point is there could have been 20 very stingy wise men who went down to the local shops and bought 3 gifts together.
Still, a few of them seem a bit dodgy.
Babies are born without kneecaps. They don't appear until the child
reaches 2 to 6 years of age. = I checked this one out on my nephews when they were born. They bth had kneecap shaped bumbs where kneecaps should be, but for all I know they are kneecap precursors or something else. I think kneecaps are only necessary when we get over a certain mass (when the knee can't support us without) so it could be true...

and did you know that the reason why the bubbles in guinness falls is that they don't. well, most of them don't anyway-the majority, the ones in te centre which are free from the effects of the walls, float upwards, thus causing the ones at the side to move downwards! 😉

An ostrich's eye is bigger than its brain. - I think this is true.
Babies are born without kneecaps. They don't appear until the child
reaches 2 to 6 years of age. - This is probably true, bone formation begins at the ossification sites of the growth plates. An x-ray of a foetus shows they have big gaps in the long-bones of the leg and arm until just before birth.
Cats have over one hundred vocal sounds. Dogs only have about 10. - I have heard this before so I think it's true.
On a Canadian two dollar bill, the flag flying over the Parliament
building is an American flag. - There is no 2 dollar bill. Maybe you mean 5 dollars...there is a flag, but I can't see what it is.
Winston Churchill was born in a ladies' room during a dance. - Hmmm, I haven't heard this, and I've heard other strange things about him 🙂
Your stomach has to produce a new layer of mucus every two weeks;
otherwise it will digest itself. - I'm pretty sure this is true.
That's all I know for sure.
Another interesting fact about the alomnd is that the reason that both arsenic and almonds taste the same is because almonds contain incredibly small qauntities of arsenic. Believe me that is a little scary but it was explained to me that you would have to eat about a kilo of almonds just to make yourself ill🙂🙂.
I've heard some of the other facts before aswell;
A jiffy could be an actual measure of time 1/100th of a second could be both a jiffy and a microsecond (many thing have more than one name)
