But if that happened, and we were able to support 10 or 20 "big" threads, the RHP forums would be a lonely place. I say this because, if there was that many long, boring threads, people might even have to look on the second page to find even the meager beginnings of an interesting, and intentionally short lived thread. These creative, and interesting threads would be a thing of the past, because people would have to spend too much time and energy looking for them, and therefore, wouldn't post in them, and they'd all sink to the bottom, unnoticed.
what would happen if there were a lot of unkillable threads like this. I guess, some of them would be killed, because the combined posting power of RHP wouldn't be enough to support them.

If not, it'll be the beginning of the end the of interesting and fun General Forum at RHP. It's be replaced by the super thread mega-monsters, that'll cast a shadow over all the smaller, interesting threads. We must not add another unkillable thread to the general forum. We'll only be speeding up its demise.

It's been 25 long minutes since I locked myself in this thread ... I'm sure they're out there, lurking ... soon they'll be pounding on the walls like brain-eating zombies ... but I'm sure I can hold them off ...
