The radio station I listen to (classified as "Adult Alternative" which a peer terms "College radio for old people) plays an hour of songs from some random year each day. I like it when they choose a 60's or 70's year. Yesterday they did 1969.
I think it was The 1910 Fruitgum Company. I think they also did Yummy, Yummy, Yummy (I Got Love In My Tummy) -- such intellectual lyrics...

I rediscovered today that everything is relative. This week has been so cold that the kiddies have had indoor recess in the morning. Yesterday morning the wind chill factor was -4 degrees F. Yesterday afternoon it was four ABOVE zero, so I had to go out and do recess duty. It wasn't pretty.
Today it was in the twenties -- so I was outside with my jacket open, no hat, no gloves -- it was balmy weather indeed! 😲🙄

Like me!!!! Being dark as in nighttime wouldn't be as bad to me (I think) as endless dark-and-dismal days. THOSE are depressing. But if it were always night for a while? Not sure, because if it's dark when you go to work and again when you go home, that's not much difference -- you still don't get to see the sun.
