I remember that one, but am drawing a total blank on the band.

The radio station I listen to (classified as "Adult Alternative" which a peer terms "College radio for old people) plays an hour of songs from some random year each day. I like it when they choose a 60's or 70's year. Yesterday they did 1969.
Cool!

I think it was The 1910 Fruitgum Company. I think they also did Yummy, Yummy, Yummy (I Got Love In My Tummy) -- such intellectual lyrics...

It has gone to one specific cat. I think it made a good choice.

purrrrrrrr

I rediscovered today that everything is relative. This week has been so cold that the kiddies have had indoor recess in the morning. Yesterday morning the wind chill factor was -4 degrees F. Yesterday afternoon it was four ABOVE zero, so I had to go out and do recess duty. It wasn't pretty.

Today it was in the twenties -- so I was outside with my jacket open, no hat, no gloves -- it was balmy weather indeed! 😲🙄

It's raining here. The lack of snow makes the "darktime" (the part of winter during which the sun doesn't rise) a lot darker.

Don't lots of people get depressed when there is no daylight?

Like me!!!! Being dark as in nighttime wouldn't be as bad to me (I think) as endless dark-and-dismal days. THOSE are depressing. But if it were always night for a while? Not sure, because if it's dark when you go to work and again when you go home, that's not much difference -- you still don't get to see the sun.

Sure, your dog. Not the rabid copy of your dog that someone else has, though.

I am not far enough north of the arctic circle to have complete darkness around the clock. We get a few hours of sort-of-daylight, but if the weather is like now, it doesn't get better than dark-and-dismal. Even I can find this weather a bit depressing if it continues for several days in a row. However, cold and clear days and nights are a completely different matter - especially when the nordlys is dancing in the sky. 🙂

Today's forecast: Dark and Dismal
Tomorrow: Dark, but becoming decreasingly dismal

If it's less dismal, it's also less dark.
