Sounds fun!

Yes. What's wrong with dreams? ๐
My daughter Heather, who teaches music in Brazil is now the head of the music department at her university in Maceio (thats the part of Brazil that sticks out into the ocean, the tip) and has just recently started to get enough free time for some new compositions. She was overwhelmed with administration work for a few weeks. Now back in the composition mode.
Originally posted by sonhouseI am not much of a composer. I usually play pieces written by others, or occasionally I improvise (well, I do that a lot at work, but that's not the kind of music I would play in concert or for a CD). The piece I sent in for the RHP Music Competition was not a composition either, or only partly a composition.

I have far too little time (or energy) to practise, but I am playing some chamber music (piano quartet and string quartet), which is a lot of fun. We'll play Brahms' piano quartet in c minor in concert in June.
Originally posted by NordlysWow, I would love to hear it. Sigh. Since my wife got this bad attack of ashma she doesn't have the energy to play, we used to play at a lot of folk festivals, sometimes headliners but no more, now just me and my recorder๐
