Gosh, I feel like a celebrity getting all of this attention. I have never visited the forums prior to this however a friend informed me that I was the topic of a heated debate so I had to check it out. To those of you who defended me...thanks a million. We all need someone to cover our backs especially when we're not available to defend ourselves! To most of you who didn't...I have no idea who you are as we have never met or played a game! Maybe people have too much time on their hands? Maybe people just love to gossip? Maybe people make irrational judgment's armed with only half the story? So much for this being the "Gentleman's Game"!

I can attest to his volatility. I had problems with Time Bandit a few months ago… had to add him to my ignore list (he’s the only one on the list). Near the end of the game we were playing he started berating me with insulting messages. He claimed he had tried to start a friendly conversation with me (which he did not; message log showed no messages from him except for the insults) and told me he wished there was a way to “ban persons like myself” from all chess sites. The messages continued and became very abusive (and annoying)… finally he resigned the game (claiming he could win but he’d rather resign than continue to play me… which was laughable). He’s the only person on RHP I have ever had a problem with… looks like I am not alone.

BTW… his claim to have never visited these forums before is false… I see two previous visits and posts by him (January 2010 and May 2010).

Too bad KingMe123’s post was deleted… I was able to read it last night… it shed a lot of light on the strange behavior I had to endure while playing Time Bandit. Yes… the ignore list… a blessing of sorts.

It seems what is good for the goose is not good enough for the gander.
