Have u read Raymond E. Feist's Riftwar saga starting with Magician. Some deadly dragons in that.

Definitely The Riftwar Saga and The Serpentwar Saga and The Empire Saga are my favourites. I read through the whole lot about 6 or 7 times, but now I stop reading before Shards of a Broken Crown. I think he gets a bit lost there.
I've been reading the Conclave of Shadows over the past couple of weeks. Its good, but still nowhere near as good as his earlier stuff.
If you enjoy Feist, then I'm sure you'll really enjoy George R. R. Martin's A Song of Fire and Ice series.
