So, I'll propose yet another theory: Russ is an evil genius, who has been experimenting with Artificial Intelligence "agents" to participate in the forums and play chess. TommyBear is one of those agents gone rogue, which Russ has been unable to uninstall thus far. If the TommyBear agent successfully learns to replicate itself, the very existence of RHP is at risk.
