ohhh, I could have warned you if I'd seen this thread sooner. Never allow your parents in to see you before you are fully consious!!

Why? The normal sequence that we wake up from anesthetic is:
ears
mouth
eyes & consiousness

So where's the problem? you can hear and talk before your consious!!!. The first time I went under as a kid I was 12 and my mum found out all sorts of secrets by asking me questiuon in the 15 minutes between me starting to wake up and realising where I was.

When I went under the next time at 14 I asked the nurses not to let them in until I was awake - My secrets at 14 were a lot bigger than 'who broke the china' at 12!!
