Funny, I've been told that, unlike Helsinki, Turku has some interesting bits of Finnish history to check.
Then again, I'm quite nerdy when traveling, so...
there are some excavated ruins (indoors), the church and väinö aaltonen museum at least. the rettig palace. but I don't really know turku that well. my trips have been more along the lines of booze, rock and love. 'down by the laituri' is one of the nicest city festivals in finland.
