So when this song comes on the radio, does anybody else turn it up and starting singing it when you are by yourself?

I'll be driving and it will come on and I'll be almost crying half way through the song. I was just wondering if anybody else does this.

my 16 year old daughter has it on her ipod, and sings along outloud whenever its on( and she often repeats the song). I don't get it. It's a good song and all, but a little dated for a 16 year old

I was born in 81 and it came out, I think, in 83 so I'm older than it. πŸ˜›

And I happened to catch it while flipping. Now it's all I can see whenever I hear it. πŸ™

This was a crap song when it came out, and a freakish video. Aging hasn't helped.

Worst part: the flying choir boys with demon eyes.

It's like a female version of a Meatloaf song.
And Meatloaf was brilliant.
When he gave away half his brain to Rocky.
When his greasy long hair hung in his mouth during Paradise by the dashboard light.
When he was rougher than a morning after a bottle of Scotch.

But ever since he muttered the words: "Sex and drums and rock & roll" he doomed himself from legendary rock status to Back-street-boys whining maggotry.

And so "total eclipse" was ruined by Meaty as well. For everything that man has touched (or his song writers in this case) has been damned to the garbage can of history, the bin bag of rock-gone-by, the "We don't do drugs" campaign of Republican christian pop.

Tragic.
