have to reconsider and offer some "Mad Dog 20/20" . Kirk

Let me add my book will be given to a lower rated player beating a
higher rated player in the best game as such...i will even give them a
pick from a couple.
Plus to John for assisting me in all of this I will be awarding him a
book also from my library in which he can chose the
category..opening...middlegame...or ending.
Thanks John and thanks to all for willing to put up items to make this
even more fun

here is our contribution: a bottle of high quality wine for both the
winner and the looser of the most attractive game. To be decided later
how that will be determined. Sin & Julia.

For those of us not participating, but wanting to spectate (isn't the
correct word in the chess world "kibbitzer"?), how about posting a list
of the matched opponents, AND the game ID's so we can track them?
Better yet, if you can convince Chris and Russ to add a tournament
page where we can click on the games to follow them. Something like
the current "public games", but only the tournament games.
It all sounds great, good luck to all! May the best country win!
Michael
Well well well John, you had all managed to stay away from the celebrated US arrogance for so
long, but you had to squeeze it in in the end didn't you!
The "best country"!! You have opponents from about 15 countries, which is really the best?!!
Joe
PS This is meant in sarcastic good humour, so please don't flame me!
