Possibly the dumbest way to waste two hours ever.

I felt like I was being force-fed a jar of peanut butter the whole way through. The actual story line, or bread, was non existent, but the peanut butter special effects were overpowering. And all the while, I was screaming, "I f***ing hate peanut butter!

I actually fell asleep at least twice throughout the course of the movie. When was the last time you fell aslee in a 3D theater that you had paid $10.50 to visit?
It's outrageous.

That's pretty much how I felt about Avatar, especially once I realised I was watching Dances With Wolves.

But thanks for the heads-up. I'm a big fan of the original Tron but I think I'll give this one a miss (or at least wait until it's a cheap rental).

Yes thanks for the heads-up. I also surprised myself by how much I still enjoyed the original recently and was all set in my stripy florescent jumpsuit to go see Legacy this week but this is the 2nd dire report I've heard, so I'll be doing the same as gixxer.

Thanks for the info. I was wanting to see it. I am not a peanut butter fan either.

I am not surprised. I, too, am a fan of the original film. I saw who was making this one, and how, and why, and it took me less than a second to realise that they were going to miss the entire point of the original completely, but completely. And yup, they did.

Isn't it hilarious that people who don't like movies like this somehow always end up watching them and then complain about it?

How stupid can you be?

I've got two friends (divorced now) but we stopped watching movies with them. They uppity uppity made snide comments about dialog, wardrobe, delivery and even lighting throughout the movie.

The only movies i ever fell asleep to was Good Will Hunting and
the boy in stript Pajamas(but this one because i did sleep the night before).
But i do agree i dont like it when movies are in 3D.

My brother-in-law fell asleep in the cinema during Nixon; full head back snoring effect; I was sat next to him; it was not a good moment.

I didn't think it was that bad but didn't go with high expectations. It was never going to be as good as the first, just an excuse to show off what the Tron world looks like using modern day animation techniques. Saw it in a 3D IMAX and got what I was expecting: more of a theme park ride than a film. Came out with a headache from sensory overload though. I can see how it may be naff in a 2D standard theatre.

BTW peanut butter is the foulest substance known to man, and the US's obsession with it is the greatest un-investigated scandal in modern day history.

Is not! But you USAliens don't know how to make it. You need a. peanuts, at least 80%; b. oil, vegetable; c. salt, a tiny amount; and most importantly d. no sugar! and no palm fat or soy lecithin, either. That's all.

All you really need is peanuts and salt. Peanuts come with their own oil. When I buy peanut butter I make sure the only ingredients are peanuts and salt. If there's anything else in it, I don't buy it. There are plenty of companies out there who agree with me and make the pure variety.
