Just tried that russ, I can access forums very quickly, games are taking forever to load
So it it quick to load the game THEN slow to move? Or just always slow when looking at a board regardless of if you are moving or not?

at this point the games (including the analize board) are now moving very quick. so I think my problem may have been my isp provider.

Often it's slow to load the game and after clicking move... seems to load in bursts. I find it's generally the worst between 17:00 and 20:00 GMT.

OK. so just did a test..
I found loading the game was quick (2 seconds), pressing move took 15 seconds.. which.. I've seen much faster previous.. but.. I've seen slower this week too.

I went into My Settings, my personal details, clicked Update, and it was done in less than 2 seconds..
After clicking that update.. I went to my next game, and the speed for clicking Move was 8 seconds. (I'm pulling the games up on the screen quickly.. don't think its been slower than 3 seconds for me there at all)

Just tried.
After this trick the site is a little faster but it's still slower than how it used to be a week ago.
The Error window has still to appear though, let's see what happens.........

hey Ravello? just to confirm... this isn't just a popup is it? the registry error? as I know I've seen on some other warez sites there is a popup add that says your registry is corrupted, and when you click OK, it brings you to a website to purchase some registry cleaner.. but.. it wouldn't force a reboot though.. when you click OK, it doesn't bring you to a website right?

I never clicked OK,I just closed the window and nothing else happened.
Now I'm getting "InternalServerError" messages for some italian sites:where can I find the server log?
Thanks for the answer,I'm a computer illiterate.

you probably won't be able to get to the server log.. maybe some sites are down that go through a similar network connection?
if you have some URL's, I can test to see if I can reach them?

Yes,please try www.ansic.it,can you access it?

I found that I have to hit the move button twice, like every fifth move, otherwise it usually takes about 20 sec to load after a move

Just had another blip of slowness.. 14 seconds for Move to take effect.. then tested the Update Settings, and that took around 13 seconds.

it sounds so petty when you actually count the time, lol.. ie.. only 15 seconds..
