the sole reason for this thread is to demonstrate rusty's insecurity brought about by a lack of love from his mother
he needs,
desperately,
for folks to love him and care that he exists,
but he does not want anyone to tell him this, as his ego is fragile,
damaged by poor relationship choices and a misguided fear of social interaction
