So now instead of having to say %#@(, you can just say Vista. Try it out!
"That's a load of bull-vista!"
"I don't have to listen to this vista!"
"You are so full of vista!"
If you are an advanced user, do you best Danny Glover impersonation and try:
"I'm getting to old for this vista-a-a-a-a!"

I've only heard bad things about Vista.
vista works great for me.
much more robust than xp ever was.
has never hung up or crashed in like 6 months.
reboots about 5 times as fast, and i don't ever seem to need to.
tabbed browsing is fine, works, easy.
purely intuitive.
so, what's the problem, or are you just mac'ers that are spewing stuff just to do it, or do you really know of a problem somewhere?
by the way, i don't work for MS, i'm not a tekkie, i barely know how to push the keyboard keys and move a mouse, so code talk doesn't do anything for me.
Originally posted by coquetteIf by robust you mean it uses more RAM and CPU overhead than ever, you're right (Vista uses 800 mb when idle!)

If it has never hung up or crashed in 6 months, that's probably because you're not a techie and "barely know how to push the keyboard keys and move a mouse" and you haven't had to add or remove software and deal with suddenly changing permissions and locked programs etc. If Vista is working for you now, that's great! Don't change a thing! Talk nice to it, give it praise, tell Vista how valuable you feel it is in your computing partnership. Do not upset Vista.
If you think Vista boots about 5 times as fast, it's probably because you've forgotten, I mean, it has been 6 months since you've done it.
It's sad if tabbed browsing has ever considered an issue by Vista users. I ditched Internet Explorer years ago and have never looked back, and I was using tabbed browsing on Win98 with other browsers.
I don't know if I'd agree that it is purely intuitive, but I do agree it's pure Vista 🙂

I think your argument falls down there. However I wouldn't upgrade an older machine to Vista.

Originally posted by rhbVista is 'unofficially' designed to run on dual core systems minimum. I wouldn't recommenced upgrading ANY single core machine to it. It would run on them but you'd get far better performance from XP.
