How about if it is a temporary tattoo in which the
image is just painted on, rather than cutting or
piercing the skin?
That was a well-written post by the way. Quite
a deviation from your usual style, I must say.

Adults don't need to get these temporary tattoo's because it would be clildish.

Cain didn't have a grandfather. 🙂
That means that God the Father was Adam's father.
Adam was Cain's father.
Therefore, God the Father was Cain's grandfather.
Now, God the Father was also Cain's father.
But Adam was Cain's father.
Therefore, I think we can say that Adam is God.
Hopefully Dr. Hill can sort this all out for us.

P.S. As you continue to apply this argument,
it is interesting to note that everybody becomes
God, except women, and men who don't have
children.

Following the way christianity works, I can fall from the eyes of the Lord and let Satan in, fall to the temptation of getting that tattoo I've always wanted. Yay! Then I can feel guilty about it afterwards and repent, and all is forgiven. So I really don't have to worry about whether I should get a tattoo or not. I can do it and get away with it! I love this religion! 😀

Ephesians 1:5
he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--
Humans have to be adopted into God's family by Him then we become His children.
Adam is not a God, only God is God, If Adam where a God he would be alive like Christ. And mabye he was saved by Christ, When Christ preached to the dead.

The Supremacy of Christ
15He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. 16For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him.
17He is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
18And he is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning and the firstborn from among the dead, so that in everything he might have the supremacy.
19For God was pleased to have all his fullness dwell in him,
20and through him to reconcile to himself all things, whether things on earth or things in heaven, by making peace through his blood, shed on the cross.
21Once you were alienated from God and were enemies in your minds because of your evil behavior.
22But now he has reconciled you by Christ's physical body through death to present you holy in his sight, without blemish and free from accusation--
23if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

Satan hits me, says "ncrosby, go get that tattoo!" I say F* it, and go get that tattoo. Later that night I've realized what I've done (getting a tattoo and cursing in the same day!) and cry and repent, and all is forgiven and everything is good as gold. AND I've got that tattoo I've always wanted! Woohoo!
Well maybe if you put it that way, and abuse God Grace to get away with something you are not a Christian.

You're all good RB, just so you know I don't believe in God, but I'm not harrassin' ya. I just wanted to slip in a little example of how easy it is to getting around the whole laws/obeyance thing. I know it's off your topic this week, but I couldn't resist.

And when is hell freezing over?
I have had lengthy conversations (debates if you will) will several believers in my time. If the conversation goes on long enough, we always get around to this issue of two-way communication. In each case, the other person has let loose with excuses.
* Well, if my faith was stronger, God would talk to me.
* He wants us to take His existence on faith, and it would make it too easy to believe in Him if He spoke to me.
* He gave us a Bible to read. Everything we need to know from Him is in there.
* We'll get all the answers in the afterlife. What's the rush?
Those are the sorts of answers I have been given.
Originally posted by RBHILLI understand your comeback in the context of Salvation. But when those words were spoken by a person to me, the context was the issue of God speaking in a literal way. Do you hear God's voice, Mr. Hill?
The afterlife will be to late, now is the time of Salvation not the afterlife.
