Personally, I would say it is quite likely I would mispel "mayonnaise", so mayo is just playing it safe.
Don't drink coffee, but chocolate is best kept in the fridge IMO and mayo (especially garlic mayo) is good on fries.

2. 'Chips' deserve ketchup. Cucumbers get the mayo.
3. Chocolate should be eaten at room temperature. To put chocolate in the fridge is like putting an aardvark in the microwave. (Okay, there is some disparity).
