yeah...mr benn was so lucky having a shop as cool as that near him...

well googling it up I found that yes indeed it was planned to be made into a film John Hannah to play Mr Benn, Ben Kingsley the shopkeeper and Jane Horrocks to play the love interest, Monica McBride (I can't remember any of that in the series) but sadly it may not happen.

Would have to be Brady Bunch or Scooby Doo when I was a kid. Star Trek when I was in middle school. Star Trek TNG when I was in high school. After graduating high school, I gave up television permanently and haven't watched it in the ten years since.
