As our resident Finn, I presume (well, I don't, but you never know) you must have an intimate knowledge of Finnish psych folk. I have a couple of tracks by Islaja and Kemillisat Ystavat (sp) which I like, but would be interested if you have any thoughts / recommendations for albums or bands.
transkaakko - tykö
some circle material might tickle you as well
kuusumun profeetta - lentäen kotiin kaipaan (I long to fly home)
pekka streng - sisältäni portin löysin
piirpauke - konevitsan kirkonkellot (the bells of konevitsa. jazz/prog/folk fusion)
krakatau - jai-ping (jazz/worldmusic)
maybe the alamaailman vasarat klezmer metal should be mentioned
alamaailman vasarat - mamelukki ja musta leski
well, can't think of others right now, and they probably aren't quite what you're looking either. but check them out. gotta go now anyway, it's midsummer festival, the biggest holiday in finland. we still care more about the solar movements than the new stuff like christianity. 🙂

I remember being in Russia during White Nights with a few Finns - most entertaining festivities and enough wodka to bathe in. Enjoy!
