Swedish music group Mando Diao with their new music from a recent live performance on TV. (The lyrics is a poem by Gustaf Fröding.)

Folk music is not much heard these days, but I have a number of CDs I can turn to when I am in the mood. Currrently listening to a CD on which the highlight is 'Cindy Oh Cindy.'

My go-to comfort food is hot popcorn. My go-to comfort music is Tijuana Brass.

Anyone want SAD? I'll give you sad.

That Tijuana Brass album (with the memorable cover!) was bursting at the seams with phenomenal tracks. I can't think of any other group that could put out a no-filler album, except the Beatles.

Still in Tijuana Brass mode, but a different album this time. The song is titled 'More and More Amor.'
