I have mixed feelings about what Pearl jam is doing there. I somehow find them lazy and greedy for releasing endless concerts and charging a full price, plus they haven't been prolific in offering new songs.

Kenny Garrett. The guy has emense talent with the saxophones but his songwriting is not always consistant. When he plays more straight ahead he's terrific and can really swing...But, he occasionally dives into "smooth" jazz...yuk

Nirvana - You Know You're Right

As for Pearl Jam, most of their stuff annoys me except for songs that came off 'Vs'. All their stuff since (that I've heard, anyway) has just bugged me.

For all of the excitment about them the first couple of years I think that they've drifted into the land of overrated bands.

I don't agree with you completely, but you are entitled to your opinion. 🙂

They brought out the Live show CD's so that the fans had the show they wanted on CD with a good sound quality for a reasonable price.
(Not that "s h i t" you sometimes get with a bootleg.)
You don't have to buy them al you know. 😉

I hope you don't mind if I enjoy this great LIVE CD-set. 😀

Enjoy, of course. In fact I've been known to put on some T-Rex and Donovan from time to time. I can sing along to them after a drink or two. Don't ask for my wife's opinion on this.
