Mostly. Sometimes their stuff can be rather challenging. Even for me.
I don't have their commercial album. You recommend it?
Their cover of Hank Williams' "Kaw Liga" is a great treat if you can find it:
Kaw-Liga was a wooden Indian, standin' by the door;
He fell in love with an Indian maid over in the antique store;
Kaw-Liga----just stood there and never let it show,
So she could never answer yes or no.
He always wore his Sunday feathers and held a tomahawk;
The maiden wore her beads and braids
And hoped some day he'd talk.
Kaw-Liga----stubborn to never show a sign,
'Cause his heart was made of knotty pine.
Poor old Kaw-Liga, he never got a kiss;
Poor old Kaw-Liga, he don't know what he missed.
Is it any wonder that his face is red?
Kaw-Liga, that poor old wooden head.
Kaw-Liga was a lonely Indian, never went no where;
His heart was set on the Indian maid with the the coal black hair.
Kaw-Liga----stood there and never let it show,
So she could never answer yes or no.
Then one day a wealthy customer bought the Indian maid
And took her oh so very far away.
Kaw-Liga----stands there just as lonely as can be,
And wishes he was still an old pine tree...
🙁

You're not an ex-member are you? I didn't like them so much. I can't remember the last time they released something though.
You're from out west, right? One of the best bands of all time is from Victoria - NoMeansNo!!!!
I agree, I miss the Vancouver/Seattle music scene. Haven't seen anything from NoMeansNo since 2000 though. I used to be a DJ at the UBC radio station CiTR in the early 90's (I sucked) and interviewed them with Mudhoney. Great shows, very coherent crew, but often disintegrated into mindless violence towards the end of the show. Luv it.
Got away from the punk rock roots lately. More into heavy drum and bass bands these days like Massive Attack, et al... Plus more obscure jazz and blues... comes from living in Baton Rouge Louisiana for a few years. And I'm almost ashamed to admit it but I've been on a 70's kick for awhile, ie. Jefferson Airplane's White Rabbit.

I've never seen 40 year old men rock like that. NEVER. They recently released a 'greatest hits' album with a great album cover (I will have it as my avatar at FW soon).

I do remember Econoline Crush's first album but I was relatively young when it was released and I don't think I got into it too much so I can't really give you a valid opinion.
I find my tastes sway so much that it makes me dizzy. I can't even keep track myself. Simply put, I like anything that is not crap. And I would know. Trust me, I know everything.
