i'm listening to the first of the CDs i got for my trade-ins. 'B.R.M.C.' by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. An album i liked when it came out in 2001 but never bought for some reason...

have finished the second of my three 'new' albums: PJ Harvey 'Is This Desire?'. Now listening to the third: My Bloody Valentine 'Isn't Anything'. Very happy with all three choices. I have albums by both these artists back in Australia, so no real surprises, but some added dimensions in each case...

I got through one and a half discs of my 3-disc Lonnie Donegan in the car today. I would have gotten through two complete discs, but I had to listen multiple times to "Louisiana Man." You wouldn't think that combination of auld Ireland and bayou cajun would work, but somehow it does.
