Kylie Naked - A biography ; Jenny Stanely-Clark & Nigel Goodall...
I mean.. errrr.. Fear & Loathing in Las Vegas ; Hunter S Thompson.
How tragic was his death. I am one hell of a hard peach, but that brought the tear to my eye. Anyone seen the movie with Johnny Depp? Ffffin excellent.. for all those drug addicts, read this book then watch the movie.
It will make you truly sense how much more drugs you could enjoy but missing on. Fabulous, well and truly and based on real events. GONZO Style!

Finished Stephen King's Insomnia... good story. Undecided what to begin next. I gave some thought to soliciting the groups' opinions on what I should read, but after reading the replies on beer suggestions I thought better of it.
I think I'll ask one of my Manchester canal swim team mates for their suggestion.

"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of uppers, downers, laughers, screamers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me was the ether. There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge, and I knew we'd get into that rotten stuff pretty soon"
And that was right at the start of the of it all....
