Thank you. The whole purpose of my thread was not to insult people who have not (yet) had children, but to honor those who have. Like I said in a previous post, the cockroach is even more successful in life to promoting their species.
I certainly did not want people to think that I thought they were "failures in life" for not doing that. I am not capable ...[text shortened]... .. just seems to me that THAT remark is something that people should think about.
Cheers
Any more conclusions you want to draw from all this? Go ahead, let no moral or ethical norm stop you ....

Originally posted by ArrakisIt is you that needs to take a logic class.
Then you need to take a logic class. A+B=C and if A is true and B is true then C is true...
But A+B does not equal D, which is what I would give you if you were one of my students. (heaven forbid)
Your opinion is that we are here purely to reproduce. The logical progression from that is that anyone who has no intention of reproducing or cannot reproduce has no point, and therefore has a meaningless existence. The logical progression from that is that they be eliminated, because the whole point in our lives is to be baby factories.

Perhaps it is you who needs to take a logic course?

if A is the only meaning of life then obviously all ~A has no meaning.
if ~A has no meaning then if you cannot A then you may as well not exist.
MOTHERCRAPPING LOGIC
Originally posted by ArrakisThis doesn't make sense anyway. For starters, The first part assumes A and B are boolean variables because you referred to them as "true". If that is the case, then you cannot do an A+B (unless the + is used to represent a logical operator, such as AND or OR).
Then you need to take a logic class. A+B=C and if A is true and B is true then C is true...
But A+B does not equal D, which is what I would give you if you were one of my students. (heaven forbid)
Lets assume that you have used + as a logical operator, whether it is AND or OR, then A+B will be true, therefore, as you correctly stated, C will also be true.
It falls apart when you say A+B does not equal D, because that will be assuming that D is false, which you haven't stated. If D is true then A+B will equal D.
Originally posted by ArrakisActually, we took what you said literally. You literally said "sole purpose." That means "only." There is no other way to interpret that. There is nothing to infer. You did not say "main purpose" or "this is my opinion; what's yours? Let's discuss this." You made a pronouncement.
Yes, and it's interesting from the point that people see what they want to see... believe what they want to believe and go bonkers when somebody says something that they think may challenge their belief system - even if they misunderstood what was said. 😲

That's not what I said at all! Here's my quote:
"Ah, but even a crack whore who gave birth is more important and more successful in life than a person who could not reproduce their genes."
More important and successful in reproducing life!
No wonder some people flipped out over that statement. They took it the way you did.
B: "What do you mean, 2 + 2 = 5??? That's complete nonsense!"
A: "You are misinterpreting what I said! Here's what I said: 'You know what, I made a great discovery! 2 + 2 = 5!' Of course I meant that 2 + 2 = 5 - 1. I thought that was really obvious"
