Her name is Jen, and she likes to cook for me, her flatmate is Italian, and she's already showed me how to make a few pasta dishes....basically, when i go over, one of the two of them makes me food......The words "pig" and "Shiit" spring immediately to mind 😀 We went to see the Barenaked Ladies last night, and she made me lunch first 🙂

Don't know, but when i asked her to show me how to make bolognaise she was from Sardinia, not Bologna....That was that.
It's been pretty easy stuff so far, carbonara and the likes (bacon and eggs in pasta, neat or what !). I guess if i ask her and she knows how to make it, she will.

Yup, i need to pinch myself sometimes. She has been trying to make me a bit more civilised, table manners and the like. But considering what i'm getting out of it, i can wait for everyone to have their food before starting eating......no sweat 😛

Yeah, picking the dangleberries from my but with the fork didn't go down too well. The worst thing about it all is when i acted pissed off about one thing she tried to change, she got all scared like i was going to beat her up. Seems her Fiance back in Mauritius used to beat her quite bad, puts a whole new prespective on her manner now.
Me being a loveable rogue gives me a gruffer exterior than some, and i guess i must've triggered something just by looking pissed off at her. Now i know what i'm dealing with, i act accordingly.

The more people I meet in life, the more I am amazed at what is out there as far as emotional baggage and different personalities quarks.

Be careful. My old roommate dated a girl with (it seemed) some sort of hitting issues. She turned into a complete psychopath. I remember one time getting into an argument with her over doing her share of the dishes when she stayed over. This was our first argument. Prior to that, we got along just fine. I raised my voice slightly in the argument and all of a sudden, out of nowhere she says, "You're going to hit me, aren't you? You want to punch me in the face!" Then she just lost it completely and started going into all this crap about hitting. I just shook my head in disbelief, told her to do the f'ing dishes and walked back to my bedroom.

The funny thing is (funny as it can be in that kind of situation) i've never hit a girl in my life. I guess if it gets that bad i'll alter my thoughts onthe matter, but for now i'm pretty sure she made the right move picking me too.....even if i do need to buy new underwear 😛

If everyone just ate on paper plates there would be no more domestic violence.
