Isn't that what life is? Work hard (at work, relationships, play etc) and every so often you are rewarded. Perhaps it should have been called "LIFE".

Makes me think of a Woody Allen quote: "Life is full of misery, loneliness, and suffering - and it's all over much too soon."

How 'bout "Life is what YOU make it".

That's true, but before you get aware of your possibilities, you have already wasted quite a few.

Exactly...life a learning experience. Hopefully you (the general you) are a good student.

I never have done, and never will, live by the anecdote, " If only..... "

I have enjoyed every moment of my life on this planet, have travelled much of it, worked in may places and cultures, achieved huge ambitions, and yet lived simply (or extravagantly, in others' interpretations); and yet had my complex times and simple times.

I wouldn't be sad for one moment if I keeled over and passed, never. I have enjoyed my stay in this life, and as long as it permits me I shall further enjoy every moment of lapping up what I think I am, what I think I am not, and what others think I am or not.

Life is terrific!

-m. 😉

I'm happy for you - you still have much to look forward to.

You once talked about me stalking your posts.

What do figure your doing with GB?

NM, You probably feel it is ok for you. 😛
