There are some weird ones out there. A 1400 who only wants >2500, OR, (500-800). And so on.

There is no player on this site with a rating above 2500.

So, starting a game for players above 2500 will yield 0 game offers.

These invites have been there a long time. When they came out, there were several others by the same guy with more normal rating ranges, quite likely covering the whole spectrum (when I saw them the first time, some ranges were missing, but I probably didn't see the invites right after they were posted). My guess is that it was some kind of test.

The "je" was french.

If you lose (or loose in your language) to someone much higher than you will lose few or zero points but you will never gain points.

But another guy has put out a game for a 500-600 rating, with the game titled, "Lowest active 627." I guess it got erased (or taken??), because it's no longer there. And the same guy has one for >2500 entitled, "Wonder how long this'll sit."
