you know how it is, when you’re fit and look great with your pristine white cotton with a neat black Nike logo and firm elastic stitching at your edges do you really want to get paired up with a stretched, bobbly, greying synthetic type Puma that has gone all worn and slack?

20 pairs of the other halfs shoes, 15 years of paperwork i can't be arsed to sort out, a box of cassette tapes (don't know why i'm still hoarding them!) and usually a cat
