Go chat up some girls at the college, the local pub, your church, wherever...anywhere but an internet chat room. That is my advice. You don't have to take it.

I lived on Boston for 5 or 6 years. I was right in the heart of the city, but across the street we had public gardens where for $15 a year, you could get your own (fenced-in) plot of land (maybe 15x10 feet) and grow whatever you wanted (within reason).
