You think any of the men in the Royal Family of England use Viagra? Inquiring minds want to know.

That word sounds almost as troublesome as "priapism"

And that'd be painful, I think.

I would think so too. There truly is such thing as too much of a good thing.

Seems other mindset issues are far more pressing:

If I agree on the point that

melancholy musing is a waste of time, what about

perpetual pondering

thorough thinking

constant cogitation

irrelevant imagination

rational realization

only one modification,
would i add to yer list...
other than that,
it's more hit than miss...

instead of "irrelevant imagination",
my brain runs to,

irreverent imagination...

so close...

But it is a melancholy of mine own, compounded of many simples, extracted from many objects, and indeed the sundry contemplation of my travels, which, by often rumination, wraps me in the most humorous sadness.

Well stated. We would all miss Bob if he should quit posting. C'mon! Admit it! He is a true gentleman, at least. His biggest problem is that he is smarter than all the rest of us put together. This irks some people. I try to learn something from him, even though I am much older.

You need to find yourself a better psychiatrist, the one you use now must be broken.

if you see him as a gentleman, that is your view...
i see ole bobby as disingenuous at best...

as for him being "smarter than all the rest of us put together"???

i respect you greatly, but, you may want to rethink that...

It is the only way I can explain the fact that most of the time I haven't the foggiest notion of what he is saying. So he must be profound. My brain is too logical to pick up on what many of you are saying. Even your poems seem to be a collection of words tossed together that make absolutely no sense to me. Therefore, it must that I am the stupid one, since everyone here can beat me at chess and are at a higher level of intellect. I still like Bob.
