The standard comeback of this type is to say, "Have I said something to upset you?" in a creepy, Peter Cushing sort of way. He's done exactly that himself, on numerous occasions.

Either you really don't get it, or you are deliberately trying to obfuscate the matter.

There's just no two ways about it. But I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. The phrase I used, "for all GB's faults", is an idiom. I wasn't referring to any faults in particular, but was driving home a broader point.

If you're of a mind to you may want to go back to the exchange between wolfgang and I and see why I said what I said concerning GB's "faults" and glean from the whole context the real meaning behind all that I said.

It's up to you.

Why did you mention his "faults" at all if you were going to act in such a peculiar way when asked about them? If, at that time, it's true, you weren't referring to any faults in particular, now that you've been asked about them and have had a chance to think, what particular faults do you have in mind?
