Okay, well maybe the term 'PRICK AND PING' hasn't entered common parlance in your neck of the woods....(You 'prick' the plastic container containing your instant, ready - made meal, and you 'ping' it in the microwave oven - the oven goes 'ping' when the meal is ready)
