I agree that Ortiz deserves it especially over A Rod, but your right the DH status might be a factor against him, although it shouldn't be. After all the League put in the DH rule, and if he's earned it he deserves it!!!!! By the way Toronto was the last team to win the World series in back to back years 92, and 93 so they've still got a team and had they not lost their ace this year, they might be contending, like they will in the next few years.
