This sounds more like a nightmare instead of a dream. Chris & Russ
would have to employ an account, full-time perhaps. And what about
£'s and €'s? I for one, would like to be a member of Kasparov Chess
Club, but just can't. Only credit cards are accepted, while I'm
absolutely reluctant to settle financial matters with a credit card,
certainly on the Web. KCU is now, after my second complaint, looking
into the matter to create a solution. At ChessWorld, for instance,
there's no problem: you can make your payment in £, $ or €, either
with a credit card or by postal order/cheque. Oh well... it's not an easy
problem. But RHP deserves it that it be solved in the most favourable
way for Chris & Russ. And, of course, for all RHPrs.
why not make the winners pay? Its like buying your rating points. And it would be anti-doping, lol.
No let's be serious. You cannot link contribution to the result. This sounds like professional "sports". I think there are already
plenty of good ideas, but I would let it to the people that are willing to take the business risk of running the site make the
decision and analysis, and they will find enough participants, Iam sure.
No no, you've got it ALL wrong.
People like YOU (since your rating is higher than mine!) should have
to pay EXTRA for the pleasure of soundly thrashing those of us with
lower ratings. You should pay me at least a dollar a game for getting
to beat me like a mangy cur! Two dollars if you beat me like I'm a
redheaded stepchild.
(No offence to step children or redheads meant. Or mangy curs for
that matter)
🙂
