An 'o' for the genetive? No, I don't think that works in Norwegian. What about "revsild"? That's delightfully ambiguous.

I suspect räv and eld might very well be such words, and it would make sense that same would apply to norwegian. these days it's mosty visible in town names etc., maybe there are such in norway as well?
