Thanks for the site tip! Found this there:

A great time-killer! Though after a while, when you advance in stages, and get enough archers to defend your castle, the game kinda plays itself. Which is not necessarily a bad thing - now you can play chess at RHP and the castle game simultaneously. Talk about efficiency! 🙄

Originally posted by PhlabibitWhen you buy the archery range you get a red flag. Click that when you have a convert and he'll become an archer. They shoot on their own. Make repair men the same way with the workshop. I think it's a blue flag. They repair castle damage automatically during the battle. The wizards are a lot of fun. Anyone know how many you need to get the fourth spell?
In Castle, how do archers work? What does the work shop get you?? I have only been able to get the explosives to work by clicking my converts.... What are some tricks I am missing???

I have some trouble because hitting 'p' is supposed to pause, but it doesn't work for me and I don't know why. Anyone else have this trouble?
Originally posted by HentschelOn the front page where you have the options to play a new game or load one, you also have a "Help" option. There's also a link at the bottom to a FAQ, but the FAQ isn't as useful as the Help link.
How do you find out what the additional buildings do? I was trying to find a web page describing what the ad-ons do but I couldn't find one. Can you please tell me how to use them?
Huntingbear - I think you might be in for a lot of wizard hiring if you are looking for the fourth spell, on the account of there not beeing one! 🙂
Hentschel - there's the help file of course, but here's a little advice:
First buy the temple as soon as you can. Once you have the temple, you can drop the little stickmen into your castle, and they'll be changed into converts by the temple. You can only convert one at a time. When the temple is converting, there's a beam of light coming upwards from your castle - you have to wait until that beam turns off before droping the next lucky stickfigure into your castle.
If you buy the demolition thingy, you'll be able to click on a convert (they appear on the top right hand side of your screen), and one will start walking out of your castle with a load of dynamite. Click on that stickfigure, and it'll explode, taking with it any enemies around. I've found that the demolition workshop is not that useful, not at least for very long in the game, so if you can do without it, the faster you can get the other, more important improvements.
Buy the archery range, and a red flag will appear in one of your towers. Click on the flag, and if you have converts, one of them will turn into an archer. The number on the tower tells you how many archers you have. The archers shoot automatically. The more archers you have, the deadlier they'll be.
Buy the repair workshop, and another flag will appear on another tower. Use it similarly to the acher-one, and you'll turn converts into repair-men that'll automatically repair damage done to your castle. The more of them you have, the faster your castle will get repaird.
Finally, buy the wizard thingy. You get another flag and... well, you know the drill by now. The more wizards you have, the more mana you have, and the faster it recharges. (Casting spells uses mana) Your mana is displayed in a blue bar next to your wizard tower. The higher your maximum mana is, the more spells you get, and higher spells use more mana. There are three spells to be had - the first one allows you to kill a single stick figure, the second allows you to create a blast to kill more effectively, and the last allows you to instantaneously turn one figure into a convert.
The upkeep of each wizard, repairman or archer you have will cost points at the end of each stage - make sure that you have enough left over from each stage to cover your upkeep. It seems that it isn't enough to earn enough in a stage, but you have to have that amount of points left over from the last round, after your purchaces. If you don't have enough money, you'll loose some of your wizards, archers and repairmen.
That's about it 🙂
Once you have 300+ wizards, you'll be able to cast any of the spells at the fastest rate you are able. My 500 repair men do a pretty good job at making my 900000 point castle pretty invunerable from the petty attacks of the few that get past my 2100 archers. 😀 (Stage 75, currently )
I'f pretty much made myself redundant. 🙄
EDIT - one thing I forgot to mention: you can cast spells by either clicking on the corresponding icons below the mana bar (which is too slow), or by using the shortcut keys; 1 for kill, 2 for blast, 3 for convert.

Its all about the math....
It costs 200 bucks per guy you have.
so be sure to have $8000 in your bank if you have 40 men etc.
Just watch what you are spending, and be sure you Have that much already... it doesn't matter how much cash you make in the level, it is how much cash you have at the start.

If I get bored and feel like clicking I convert a few hundred per level now.
When I get to level 40 I am going to kill everyone off and see if the castle can stand alone. I already know it can survive if I kill everyone off and try to click the bomber guys running to the gate.
