I was just being facetious. But honestly, I can't find it in myself to think that the genius who performed "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough" and "Rock With You" can be all that bad. Just like the Juice, man. That guy was one hell of a running back! And a Buffalo Bill to boot. Phil Spector? One of the greatest producers ever! Wall of Sound. End of the Century. C'mon! These guys are heroes, not criminals!

I believe in you, Michael!!!

If this was some guy who lived down your street then would it be okay?

Is genius an adequate defence for criminality?

If Michael Jackson lived near me his house would be burned down, not by me I agree innocent till proven guilty. The fact is that he has admitted to a level of contact, with minors, that most deem inappropriate. Further this is not a one off, and Jackson has been informed before that his behaviour has been inapproriate but he continues to act in the same manner: so you have to ask yourself, is it because he can't help himself?

If that's the case then he needs help.

People just slay me! They seem to believe that, just because someone is famous, they cannot commit crimes! This is just ludicrous! The rich and the celebrity are just as able to commit crime as the poor and downtrodden.
I believe he is guilty, and that he has surrounded himself with 'yes men' who are willing to support him in any way because they are paid exhorbatant amounts to do so. The families of the children have also supported him for the same reason.

Sarah, is it so unbelievable that those who are suing Jacko could be exploiting his bizarre eccentricities and the overtly damaging media exposure to win a sizable fortune?

Darv (may i call you darv?),

Your point is valid as hell about people exploiting him for financial gain, but take a look at how many new supporters that were also wronged by him, or employed by him have come forward to testify that the accusations are true!! They have nothing to gain by it. I don't want to believe that Jacko has done these things, but the amount of testimony is overwhelming. . . .where there's smoke there's fire and single white glove.

What's to say there's nothing in it for them??

But don't get me wrong, I think he's effed. I think if he is found guilty and sentenced to jail, he will probably kill himself.

With all the reality tv we have in the USA involving celebrities, it is easy to see that Hollywood/Beverly Hills is a world of people who make their careers by catering to the stars. Just watch The Simpsons or The Osbournes and you will see all these people feeding off of the wealth of the famous. You are all familar with "The Emperor's New Clothes'?
The people who pander to the emperor are afraid to tell him he is naked. The emperor is afraid to say he doesn't see the clothing because he doesn't want to feel foolish. Hollywood is a living example of this tale.
Michael Jackson would seek out young boys who worshipped him as their hero. He would slowly groom them into believing he loved them like a father or big brother. The families are usually poor and he gave them money and gifts. Most likely, as the hugging and friendly gestures began to change into fondling and other innapropriate touching, the boys would try to justify it as normal. After all, this is their hero who can do no wrong. They realized that if they said anything, the fairy tale world would end and they would be thrown out of the castle.

I feel that in light of the evidence I've been informed of through my lawyer friend that he is probably going to be convicted.

The child accusing him has his finger prints all over jacko's porn magazines that were confiscated. And other childrens finger prints as well.

Pretty damming evidence I'd say.

My honest opinion is that he has acted inappropriately and been caught doing so far too many times for pure coincedence. should they find him innocent i will puke. Then again.. look at OJ.
I know what you mean about OJ. I get sick every time I see his ugly face! 😠

I think he is guilty. No he will do no time? Just what I think. I am not Jackson's judge.

well without hard evidence it is wrong to formulate an adequate responce. but my personal opinion is yeah he's guilty

do hard time? with his money?are you joking? it's sad but he will probably buy the victims and all their families, along with the grannies, uncles and the second grade cousins.
i doubt there will be someone willing to testify against him after the money start flowing
