I wish I could arrange my games by timeout period, with the shortest timeouts at the top of the list.

LOL!

I was just browsing around when this bumped me on the head.

Ok, I will look at this again soon shortly. I have implemented this once before as a prototype, and it worked OK - but there were a few problems still to sort out.

I will not be able to sort the games by timeout including the timebank period though, just the timeout itself. Which is probably how you would all prefer it anyway.

Thire and yours truly have campaigned endlessly for the option of listing/sorting games by 'next time control'.

The new alert menu options is an improvement, but it's just window dressing as it doesn't address the issue of managing games with differing and varied time controls and not to mention timebank kicking in with no 24 warning etc etc. All been posted before and generally supported but still no resolution.

Probably needs to be bumped 'till the 2nd coming to achieve this.

So here we go: bump 0000001

Russ knows that you wnt it and that I'd like to have it, but he's the chef, creator and master of this site, he knows what he wants to implement.

Ok, I have now made the 'alert' column sortable.

This will arrange games by remaining timeout time. (timebank is not even considered)

There is one little caveat though, and that is that every new game (where no move had been made) will appear at the top of the list, regardless of timeout remaining. This was the little snag that prevented me releasing this last time I did this work, but, I guess it is not such a big deal.
