So..

will they be adding the British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, PEI, New Brunswick, Newfoundland/Labrador, Nova Scotia, Yukon, Nunavut, and NorthWest Territories flags when they add Quebec back?

Here is a link so they don't have to look them up
http://www.canada.gc.ca/othergov/prov_e.html

All I'm arguing for is consitant criteria. If sub-state divisions are not allowed, fine. Just as long as that standard is applied consistantly. If they are allowed (as they seem to be now), then the criteria should be that a flag will be included if there is a demand for it. And there was for Quebec.

I'm still wandering why my flag bothers other people.
I know that Québec is not a country in a legal sense
but it makes me happy and proud, it allow me to recognize
other québécois in this chess site and... it's a very pretty flag!
I don't have anything against anybody but I'm still very surprise
of some strongs reactions. Does my flag bother you so much?

Chris told me that he will add this flag when the site could offer the choice of a country or a region.

Don't take it so seriously - it's only a flag. 🙁

Here's the latest news

''Unfortunately we received many complaints before when we added the Quebec flag and also many complaints when we removed it, so we are waiting until we implement the regions concept in order to reintroduce it so that hopefully everyone will be happy.''

So here we are...

Who complaints about the Québec's flag?
Why these people didn't complaints about the other non-country flags?
It smells racism.
What's correct for the welsh it's not for Québécois.
What's correct for the habitant of St-Pierre et Miquelon it's not for Québécois.
What's correct for the Scots it's not for Québécois.
And so on and so on...

So refusing to allow me to choose my flag is an act of racism
because you give that choice to other people with different criteria.

I'm very disapointed.

In one week (May 17th) if I cannot choose my flag I will quit RHP
and I will take your position as a racist one.

Very bad that I have to go that far.

how long will the wait be for the region concept ?

I understand Moraito and I share the same feeling of unfairness.

Is it silly ? why are we complaining over a simple flag ? Because we care about our identity.

If our flag had never been available and neither were every other flag that does not represent a country, we would not be here writting about this issue. But our flag was available and now it is not. Because of some complaints ????? Do you take the israeli flag away because palestine does not recognize the state of israel ? I am dissapointed.

Just get a region concept similar to what we can find on many forums and lets get over this. thank you,

Exactly.
But why do they keep comparing Quebec with COUNTRIES like Scotland and Wales? I find that just as racist as what they are complaining about.

I find it silly to accuse other people of rasism, of the sole reason of a local flag. I find the Canadian flag of yours a beautiful one. You should be proud of it rather than reject it.
