Heroic Pizza Delivery Guy Saves 5 Kids From a Burning House

Indiana native, Nicholas Bostic, ran into a burning house to save five children. Goddamn hero.

I'm fairly sure pretty much all of here would do the same thing given the opportunity.

Hopefully. But the reality is this man could've died; here is a picture of him at the hospital afterward:

If the fire, intense heat or falling debris didn't kill him, smoke inhalation could've, which appears to be what made him need medical attention.

Everyone says they would do the same but few would have the balls in a real situation.

In this case I think it's just vivify/dive virtue-signalling.

Maybe so, but perhaps we can agree on this compromise assertion: people may say they would do the same but an unknown number would probably not have the balls to do it in a real situation.

Agreed!

"Virtue-signaling" a video of a baby being rescued from a fire? Man, learn what words mean before trying to seem relevant.

I think the "virtue" exhibited in this case is the random factor. People endangering themselves for their own children or relatives or even for a family pet is perhaps to be, for the most part, expected.

But the "randomness" of risking one's own life for strangers creates a bit of a wow factor here and does so in all similar cases.

By contrast, the heavily armed police in Ulvade SHOULD have gone into that classroom though. Unlike the pizza guy, they had an obligation to. It was their job to be "heroic" but not the pizza guy's.

I really just meant that you/dive seemed to be trying to salvage the @vivify persona's reputation by starting this thread, for whatever virtue by association might accrue.

Please do consult with @FMF before replying. He might have some ideas.

In the Site Ideas forum you were bitching about how people accused you of being another poster. Look at you now.

You've successfully detracted from a thread about a hero who saved children. Pat yourself on the back for how worthless you are.

Yes. How easily one of us fell into the other's trap. 🙂
