Checkers may be concidered complicated by some checkers players.
Chess is concidered even more complicated by chess players.
But the Game of Go is what I would call a Complicated game!
The first move of checkers can be 1 of 8.
The first move of chess can be 1 of 20
The first move of Go can be 1 of 361, if you take symmetries into account 1 of 55. The other sode can then choose 1 of 360 places because now there is no symmetries. (The Game of Go is played on a board with 19x19 'squares'.) This makes the Game of Go far more complicated as chess.
The Game of Go is like a childrens game compared with chess.
The disadvantage with Game of Go is there is very few who know how to play Go, even though the rules are quite simple.

It is 'relatively' easy to write a computer program to play Checkers.
It is not too hard to write a computer program to play Chess.
It is impossible to write a computer program to play the Game of Go that win to people that are not longer beginners. I haven't seen any.
Game of Go is a matter of pattern recognition, far beyond that of Chess.
