I always rather choose o-o-o if I have the time, to develop that rook for free. but it hardly ever is feasible in my openings.

According to Hamlet's fate.. He would castle queenside.

I just love to castle queenside when I play against almost any Sicilian variation.. o-o-o, pawns forward, rooks behind them, sac something, kill your opponent.

Well I think Hamlet would surely play 0-0-0-0! His last utterance.

In the openings I play, which is mostly Queen's Gambit, Sicilian and King's Indian Defense, 0-0-0 usually isn't feasible, so I tend to play 0-0 most of the time, which also suits my defensive style.

If I can open up the h file, I like 0-0-0. Generally this will happen if I'm using the Barry Attack.

I think it's more detrimental and hurtful to generalize and answer such a conceptual question. There are some positions where it's clearly correct to play 0-0-0, some 0-0, and some you can do both and it just changes the flavor of the position. Like every broad question posed in this forum, the answer is that "it depends on the position!" 😀

0-0 because I'm too lazy to move the king one more square. 😛

come on, just admit it, you're a queenside castler! I know you can't resist the activity. 🙂

You caught me. And isn't it more fun to write 3 0's on your scoresheet? 😀
