Heh, this is "quieter" than the others, but still really nice. Funny how black is hopeless despite having such an active looking position.

It's really a fairly simple combination after you read the chapters on forcing moves and checkmate patterns in those books of yours.

So, what are you trying to say ? I have 1750+ rating on chess.com tactics server. But I still didn't see that combination. Maybe I didn't try well enough. Well, can you judge someone tactical abilities or genuinity (which I suspect here is the case) by only one puzzle ?

I'm only saying that missing that problem might help to diagnose the blindness that keeps you below 1800.

Why would your genuinity be suspect?

Is chess.com a credible site? I've heard they shelter Eric Shiller and other posers.

Edit: Oh yes, and your statement about bikinis and chess rating is pure poetry (I'm sorry that you removed it).

You really shouldn't be so paranoid about being called a cheat: your games just aren't good enough for that. I don't mean that as an offense or anything, I'd say the same about my games too. Relax and keep playing. Leave that kind of worry for the day you reach the high 2200s here. 🙄

Moteutsch is correct, so were schakuhr, kbaumen and Heroic Metool.

Paultopia's 1. Bxf7+ doesn't work, I think. Not only you are a full Rook behind then, there is no forced mate in four (after 1. Qe6!)/compensation in the air either.

One more then, here Anderssen backranks his opponent Mayet (1851):
