But if you play someone who is as awesome as you at open games than the wicked time you've spent using slow crushing positional play will be indefinitely invaluable.

as a player of the black side, i have to say i don't fear the wing or Morra gambits at all, nor the Alapin really. in OTB games, what i don't like to see is a line already mentioned: 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 Nc6 f4, although i haven't actually lost against it in a while. i don't mind seeing it in CC.

there are a couple of anti-Taimanovs that can be tricky if you're not prepared.
